    Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag  (CTF)  Challenge 2023 Seminar & Award Presentation Ceremony

    Description:

    The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) jointly hosted the CTF to nurture cyber security talent, equip the next generation who aspire to join the industry to safeguard the digital future.  The Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 19 December 2023. Apart from presenting the awards to the winners, cyber security experts will also be on hand to share their views on cyber security and how to leverage vulnerability management solutions to improve security and security risk management. Besides, there will be two panel discussions on attack and defense techniques.​

    Use of forensic accountants in construction-related insurance claims/ commercial damages

    Forensic accountants play an integral part in assessing and quantifying losses, uncovering potential fraud, and providing expert analysis in complex construction/ commercial disputes. In an upcoming event, our practitioners will cover, amongst other topics:

    Dear Event Participants,We are re-branding the event to “The Hong Kong Conference”. The conference will now be held in the Cordis Hotel:

    The original venue provider Londoner in Macau terminated our contract unilaterally on Sep 12 despite a signed contract and paid deposit. The Londoner has refused to give an explanation on the cancellation. We tried to resolve the issue with them but unfortunately to no avail.  We also have contacted 8 different Macau hotels, but none worked out due to short notice.

    We understand that this change may cause you great inconvenience, but the cause of this change was out of our control. We are sorry about this and thank you for your understanding.

    “Protect Your Online Identity” Seminar and Speech Contest Award Ceremony

    Description:

    The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) jointly hosted the Speech Contest to remind the general public to safeguard their digital identities when using the Internet, and to protect personal and sensitive information to prevent exploitation by fraudsters.  The award presentation ceremony will be held on 22 September 2023.
